The 240-bus Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) model in Reduced Network Modeling of WECC as a Market Design Prototype is used as a starting point. On top of this model are these added features: Develop a 2018 base case that reflects the up-to-date generation resource mix, including installed photovoltaic and wind capacities Provide temporal and spatial time-series data of renewables and loads across the WECC for 1 year Add dynamic models that can capture the main dynamic characteristics of the WECC system, including system frequency response and main inter-area oscillation modes.en_US
