dc.description.abstract17 Generator Dynamic Test Case This 17 generator dynamic stability test case, which includes a 162 bus power flow data file, was provided courtesy of Professor Vijay Vittal and Roger Treinen of Iowa State University. It was previously distributed by Iowa State on diskette, and has been the subject of an IEEE Committee report. The format for the power flow data is the IEEE Common Data Format. The format for the dynamic data seems to be in the EPRI format described in the manual EPRI EL-2001-CCM, Project 1208 Computer Code Manual, January 1987. Of course, this dynamic data format may be described other places and I am not sure if there is an IEEE paper describing it. RDC - 8/5/93 The components of the test case are: 162 bus Solved Power Flow in Common Data Format (file dd17cdf.txt). Classical dynamic data for the 17 generator system (file dd17cldat.txt)en_US
