Synchronized Breaker Operation (Available in Hypersim)

Abstract

This model demonstrates the synchronised operation of breakers. As the Fault_Breaker disconnects the Removable_Load, the Prot_Breaker brings in the VAr_compensator to minimize the increase in the BusFault voltage.

Case 1: The Fault_Breaker is opened at t = 0.2 s and the Prot_Breaker is closed at t = 0.4 s Case 2: The Fault_Breaker is opened at t = 0.2 s and then Prot_Breaker is closed at t = 0.2 s
